  • DiscoverE Family Day

Building Museum will hosting the DiscoverE Family Day this Saturday (2/16) from 10-4:30. The event is geared toward elementary and middle school students but the event is great fun and older kids that really like engineering would enjoy all the hands-on engineering activities and talking with engineers and college students studying engineering. In the past they've had astronauts on hand to speak with, NASCAR cars, celebrity engineers and scientists (eg: Bill Nye) etc. It's a lot of fun.... tell your students! VTEEA took that thought and ran with it for the new year! We are happy to announce that we are establishing a series of regional professional development sessions geared towards our most frequently taught courses throughout the state. We are seeking volunteers to host a networking/professional development session. You are free to come up with the topics to cover and guide the conversation.
