The following applications are available only to VTEEA Members.  All application eligibility requirements and applications components are outlined in each document. 


Award Nominations

All applicants need to be nominated.  Nomination takes less than five minutes to complete.  Please take a moment to recognize an outstanding individual.




Undergraduate Scholarships


VTEEA Awards are presented to outstanding technology and engineering education teachers, programs, and professionals. The awards fall into several categories: Teacher of the Year, Program of the Year, John Monroe Outstanding Service, Academy of Scholars Citation, Lynn P. Elementary School Program of the Year = Green Valley Elementary - Kim Bradshaw / Roanoke County

Elementary School Teacher of the Year = Diana Ferguson - Waterman Elementary / Harrisonburg City

Middle School Program of the Year =  Skyline Middle School - Ashley Lambert / Harrisonburg City


Middle School Teacher of the Year = Sam Turner - Holman Middle School / Henrico County

High School Program of the Year = Matoaca High School - Troy Guerra / Chesterfield County


High School Teacher of the Year = Jennifer Tolley - Deep Run High School / Henrico County

Lynn P. Barrier = Kevin Reilly - Director - CTE Resource Center

Special Achievement = Ron Vickers - Sherando High School

Certificate of Recognition = Mary Beth Echeverria - Conference Host, Frederick County Public Schools

Presidential Leadership = Frank Guyer - VTEA President 2021-2022
